Every move is different, so exact pricing depends on factors like inventory size, access conditions, and distance. The details you provide through our checklist help us create an accurate estimate and realistic price range.


5. Is tipping movers customary?

Tipping is completely optional. If you are satisfied with your moving crew, many customers choose to tip approximately 15–20% of the total move cost.


6. Do you charge extra for stairs?

No, we do not charge extra for buildings with stairs.

Yes. Dressers and most furniture should be emptied before moving to ensure safe transport and reduce weight for both protection and safety.


11. Will you shrink wrap upholstered furniture?

Yes. Upholstered furniture is protected with plastic before moving blankets are applied to ensure safe transportation.


12. How should I pack my belongings?

For best results:

Keep similar items together in the same box

Pack items from the same furniture piece together

Use small boxes for books and heavy items

Use medium boxes for fragile items and electronics

Use large boxes for linens and clothing

Keep boxes under 50 lbs whenever possible

If you can lift the box safely, it’s properly packed.


13. What items will your movers not transport?

We do not move:

14. What if I have more items than originally listed?

If your inventory changes, contact us as soon as possible so we can update your move details. Advance notice ensures we arrive properly prepared.


15. What sizes are your moving trucks?

We operate a commercial fleet capable of handling moves of all sizes.

Truck sizes include:

16 ft – Bachelor or one-bedroom apartments

24 ft – Two to three-bedroom apartments

26 ft – Three-bedroom homes and larger


16. Can movers arrange furniture in my new home?

Yes. We provide a one-time furniture setup during your move and will place items where you want them.


17. Do I need to stay with the movers during the move?

We recommend you or a representative remain present during the move to answer questions and confirm placement of items.


18. Why do you need detailed information about my move?

Accurate details allow us to provide reliable estimates and proper planning. Information about inventory, stairs, hallways, elevators, and access ensures a smoother move with fewer surprises.


19. How many movers will be assigned?

Crew size depends on move size. Most moves include 2–4 movers. A three-person crew is common for one to two-bedroom apartments, with larger crews available when requested.


20. Do movers take lunch breaks?

Our crews typically work continuously. For larger moves lasting 6+ hours, break times will be communicated by the crew manager when needed.


21. Do you uninstall TVs or appliances?

No. We do not provide TV mounting or appliance disconnection services (including waterlines, dishwashers, washers, or dryers). We recommend hiring licensed professionals for these tasks before moving day.
